Dirtcore Music Signs Texas Vocalist Gavyn Gunn!

Dirtcore Music continues to expand its roster by signing upcoming Dallas, Texas vocalist/songwriter Gavyn Gunn! Currently, Dirtcore Music are in the beginning stages of preparing to release Gavyn Gunn’s ‘MALEVOLENT’ EP.

“Something unexpected happened. GAVYN GUNN, (an Artist I’ve known for many years) came up from Dallas, Texas to Grand Rapids, Michigan to record with me in person. I was floored by what he brought to the table. 2/5 songs were on my beats, and he requested that I remix two other songs. Then I featured on one of them. Then Samson Samson wanted to get on that song as well.

I’ve been adding more mix revisions over the past week and change, and loving his EP so much I had to offer him a spot for it through Dirtcore Music.

He told me that this is a trilogy he’s working on. So we will figure out those details, but for now I’m definitely on board for the second EP after this one which is called MALEVOLENT and will release through Dirtcore Music as soon as we can fit it into the release schedule.

Gavyn Gunn is our youngest artist, but his art is intense as fuck. He showed up rehearsed, and all his lyrics memorized. And he crushed every take in the studio.

Listening to this EP, I kept saying to myself its a GIANT mistake not to release this record and get him on board for more.
