Juggalos Wanted for Upcoming Movie Shoot!

Juggalos and Juggalattes…I have such an incredible opportunity to tell you about!  Our new homie Nathan Tape and I have been talking back and forth over the past several months.  He put together a script for a dark, gritty film called Off Ramp.  It’s a story based around the life of a few Juggalos that are ultimately trying to make their way to the Gathering of the Juggalos!

Nathan reached out to me before this year’s Gathering to let me know that he’d be making his way to Legend Valley!  He wrote a whole movie about Juggalos and wanted to surround himself with us.  When I say that this was a life-changing experience for him, I think that’s an understatement.

Now, here’s where you come in.  Are you an aspiring actor or actress?  Then you may actually have a chance to be a supporting or even a leading role in the movie!  Check out the details about the film below:

Synopsis: Trying to score a record deal, two misfits set out to the Gathering of the Juggalos but must survive America’s hellish underbelly to get there.

[TREY] Male, Young Adult (21-35). After spending a year in jail, Trey comes out a new man. His new life begins this weekend. He can’t wait to get back to his best friend and the culture that accepts him. The annual pilgrimage to the Gathering of the Juggalos is the only thing keeping him together right now. Born poor in the bowels of Louisiana, Trey dreams of a better life… and wolves. LEAD.

[EDEN] Female, Adult (21-35). Tragic trailer park punk princess. A down-ass Juggalette. She is a prisoner in her own family. She is simultaneously child-like and bad ass. A flower growing amongst the shit of her surroundings. She is
Harley Quinn with a conscience. LEAD.

[SCARECROW] Male, Adult (25-40). Eden’s older brother and captor, Scarecrow is a dangerous and scary man. He values money over people and treats those around them like they are less valuable than he is. Without the use of his legs, he commands his goons from his wheelchair. He is a constantly erupting volcano. Frank Booth in Blue Velvet crossed with Drexel from True Romance. This guy makes you uncomfortable with a look. LEAD.

[KRUSTIE & RUSTY] Male, Adult (25-40). A pair of goons. Twins would be perfect, but they could also be twins in spirit. Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee, but scary. SUPPORTING.

[RANDY COX] Male, Adult (35-60). The Everyman small town Mississippi police officer. He has been corrupted by money and circumstances. He gets off on intimidating those he feels are inferior. SUPPORTING.

[ARIEL] Female, Teenager (Looks 15-16 but actress must be 18+) Gavin’s pregnant teenage daughter, runaway, feisty. Innocent gal who was born in the wrong place, feisty and resilient. SUPPORTING.
