For Mackenzie, this is the saddest line on Mystic. Nothing is more humbling than having to ask someone why they don’t adore you. Does that person ever get tired of hurting you the same way so many times?

Nothing is more devastating than realizing that someone was never as happy as you thought they were and never loved you as much as you loved them. There comes a point in the relationship where you’ve given all you can give of yourself, and still, it will never be enough, so you have to leave, even if you don’t want to.

You have to save what little of you there is left. They will never be “Happy”, but that is their problem, not yours.
