Kottonmouth Kings New Single and Tour [News]

Rip-hop hybrids the Kottonmouth Kings have posted their new single “Where I’m Going”, from “The Green Album” from their upcoming new album online at ReverbNation.

The group recently shot a video for the song deep in an old abandoned mine in the California desert and will premiere the video on all video outlets October 14^th, 2008.

The group has also announced their headlining tour in support of their upcoming tenth studio album, “The Green Album”, which lands in stores on October 28th. The tour will features support from (Hed)pe, Big B, Dirtball and Short Dawg kicks off with a performance Halloween night in Tempe, AZ.

For the recording of for their monumental tenth studio album, the Kottonmouth Kings bunkered down at the group’s own Burbank, CA based studio for a six month stretch. The album is the missing link between earth shattering hip-hop and rawkus punk-rock, but also mixes in stoney acoustic melodies to create an innovative style that can only be described as “rip-hop”.

In a continued effort to raise awareness about environmental and social issues, the Kottonmouth Kings will be donating a percentage of profits from the sale of album to various charities. Donations from the album’s proceeds will be made to the SurfRider Foundation an organization that preserves the world's waves and beaches, the wounded soldiers of Ward 57 and Life Rolls On an organization that aids young people whose lives have been affected by spinal cord injuries.
