The year 2024 has been an odd fuckin’ year if you ask me.  Another sentence I never thought I’d say is “Good Charlotte interviewed ICP”.   That’s mostly true.  Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte has a podcast called Artist Friendly where he interviews artists of many fashions.  Last year, he interviewed Violent J, so it’s fresh that they reached out to Shaggy 2 Dope to hear from both of your favorite Wicked Clowns!

It’s about an hour-long interview, and they cover everything from the early career hustle, their pets, finally getting their due, all of the different labels they’ve been a part of, and SO much more!  You can watch it at the link below:

Given that Violent J sat down with Madden last summer, it’s fitting that the other half of the Detroit horrorcore outfit joins the series — just in time to talk about Gathering of the Juggalos.

Beginning in 2000, the annual festival acts like a modern-day Woodstock, bringing together a community of kindred spirits where “anything can happen — and quite often does.”

The festival will celebrate its 24th year in August, including performances from Rakim, Kim Dracula, DJ Paul, Vended, and beyond.
