Violent J Writes Hearfelt Tribute to Renowned Makeup Artist Laney Chantal

Laney Chantal provided phenomenal makeup, costume designs, and music video’s  for many talented recording artists such as Lil Nas X,  Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Smashing Pumpkins, Dana Dentata, King 810,  and even Psychopathic Records. As many of you know, she unexpectedly  tragically passed away on Halloween  at the young age of 33. And tonight during the Witching Hour, the Duke of the Wicked, Violent J, has published a heartfelt tribute in honor of the extraordinary Laney Chantal (RIP).

“Laney was my Angel Faced Miracle. I feel completely dead inside without her. I feel like 75 percent of what was good about my life right now was just ripped from me and stolen forever Halloween night. She loved me more than every woman I’ve ever dated combined. She was so incredibly talented, witty, funny, soft, warm, angelic and amazing. The entire time we were together I felt a guilty ping constantly ringing because she was so special and I couldn’t fathom what she ever saw in me. She was adored by tens of thousands, her beauty with impeccable and her touch was beyond description and her talents were just absolutely and undeniably unfuckwitable. I simply can’t say enough about how amazing Laney was to me. We had just 3 arguments that lead to short temporary split ups and each one only brought us closer together. She could battle as hard as she loved me and I couldn’t help but respect that. She was a celeb and was recognized everywhere we went. She made me feel larger than life clinging on to me the way she did weather in public or alone it had the same effect. I was a giant with her on my arm. Even though her sudden death right now feels as if it’s left me with more than half my soul devoward… the bottom line remains… to actually be able to spend a year and a half of my life with her being loved and loving such an emaculate human being as Laney Chantal was, ultimately is a monster sized blessing and an enormous gift from God, so how can I ever complain now that the high ride is over and I’ve suddenly been slammed back down into the regular reality of life? I got to enjoy the time we had together which was probably the greatest period of my life, so I’ve got zero complaints. I’m forever greatful for having had the experience more than anything else. I love you Laney babe for ever and ever, always and forever…. VJ “
