Scott Hall Has Passed Away

Late Sunday evening it was announced that Scott Hall had suffered 3 back to back heart attacks, after a blood clot had formed after complications from hip surgery he had recently received. Hall was immediately placed on the ICU, and was on life support. Kevin Nash would post on IG Monday morning, that Scott would be taken off of life support once his family was in place. For a brief moment, it seemed like things might make a turn for the better, as Scott was still breathing several hours after being taken off of life support. Ultimately, he would not make it.

Known as “The Bad Guy” or “Razor Ramon.” Scott Hall was a force to be reckoned with in the ring, and on the mic. I’ve heard countless times how Hall has a real brain for the business, and no one understood professional wrestling like he did. Remember, he and Shawn Michaels had the first ever ladder match for the IC title. And then, In 1996 Hall, and his best friend and tag partner, Kevin Nash would invade WCW, as The Outsiders. For weeks they teased the arrival of a third man. Originally rumored to be Sting, Hulk Hogan would for the first time ever, turn heel and align with The Outsiders…this would mark the beginning of the NWO. And, as the NWO, Hall, Nash and Hogan would change the entire landscape of professional wrestling forever.

A brief excerpt from WWE.com:

A hugely influential Superstar, Hall began his career in 1984, performing with various organizations across the country before joining World Championship Wrestling in 1991 as The Diamond Studd. In 1992, Hall signed with WWE and introduced fans all over the world to the character of Razor Ramon, becoming a four-time Intercontinental Champion and one of the most enduring personas of WWE’s “New Generation.” He participated in memorable rivalries against Kevin Nash, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and countless others, with his two Ladder Matches against Michaels at WrestleMania X and SummerSlam 1995 both considered all-time classics by fans and industry insiders alike. In 1996, Hall re-joined World Championship Wrestling and joined Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan as the founding members of the nWo (New World Order), revolutionizing the sports-entertainment industry and ushering in the “Monday Night Wars.”  After retiring from the ring, Hall capped off a one-of-a-kind career by being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as Razor Ramon in 2014 and again as a member of the nWo in 2020

Let’s not forget, the Juggalo in Hall, as a founding member of the JWO (Juggalo World Order for those not… nevermind) and has wrestled at, as well sinplo attended multiple Gatherings. A guest on ICP Theater. Hall’s history with ICP and the juggalos runs just as deep as it does within the professional wrestling world.

Scott Hall, you will be missed, terribly. What you have given to the business, what you have done for this business, I don’t think it can ever be matched. Scott, we watched you beat your demons, and come out healthier than ever, and we were ALL proud of you for it. Today, we here at Faygoluvers give a our deepest condolences to the family of the Bad Guy, Chico, Razor Ramon…Scott Hall.

“Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don’t last, but bad guy’s do.”

RIP Scott Hall
