Tech N9ne started to release music in the late 1990s, and shortly after he co-founded the well-known label Strange Music. He released his 15th full-length solo album ASIN9NE in October 2021, which peaked at #82 on the Billboard 200, #41 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and #11 on the Top Independent Albums charts. It featured appearances by Lil’ Wayne, Snow Tha Product, E-40, The Rock, among others. Rittz was well-known for his independent output from 2008 to 2012, and also for his tenure at Strange Music. After the successful Last Call album, Rittz had departed from Strange Music in 2017 to focus on his own independent label, CNT Records. He subsequently released two full-length albums and a holiday-themed album on CNT Records. In September 2021, Rittz released his newest EP entitled S.O.S., which despite being an EP, had hit #32 on the Top Current Albums chart.
