Tech N9ne and Others Top List of “Hardest Touring Bands” by NME

An insightful article popped up earlier today on NME’s website. The article lists various music subgenres and each subgenre’s hardest touring artists for 2018. For reference, they went by the number of concerts the artist performed, plus using Songkick to cross reference over 1,000 artists, and also went by mileage.

Tech N9ne prominently tops the hip-hop list at #1. As stated, he played 132 concerts in 2018. They also claim that he traveled 46,057 miles. Another notable addition is Bone Thugs-n-Harmony at the #5 spot. Another shoutout goes to P.O.D. and Puddle of Mudd for making the top 10 list for metal artists (although both of those bands aren’t exactly metal, but that’s an opinionated discussion for another time).

You can read the full article HERE and glance at how NME got their information below:

The ‘hardest touring’ bands and artists of 2018 have been revealed – based on the amount of gigs they played and miles they travelled according to research.

The data was gathered by Norman Records, who collated data from the top 1,000 artists on Songkick and then cross-referenced across over gig listing sites to see just how much artists had been gigging across the last year.
