Five Artists Who Smoke Weed

It’s not uncommon to find artists who smoke weed. There is no exact scientific proof that cannabis makes an individual more creative. But it is well-known that creative tokers credit marijuana for their works of art.

Creating art after smoking up has become more popular nowadays. The new craze, Puff Pass and Paint, in which those who attend classes smoke-up before creating pieces of art, is a perfect example of how art and cannabis can be brought together into one.

There have been many successful artists throughout the years who have admitted to using cannabis. For them, it can help draw inspiration while creating their pieces. From Pierre Schmidt to Fernando de la Rocque, here are five artists who smoke weed.

Vincent Gordon

With his mystical cartoons and eccentric style, Vincent Gordon is a do-not-miss on our artists who smoke weed list. His colorful animated characters bounce off the pages of every piece he produces.

Gordon not only works on his own but also does quite a bit of collaborative work, such as The Infusion Project. Gordon says in his bio that his love for cannabis blossomed in 1995.

Marijuana helped inspire him to create cannabis legalization propaganda pieces, which lead him into some trouble.

Gordon has created pieces for the likes of Snoop Dogg. And he has even contributed some of his pieces to High Times.
