Wanted: Juggalo Interviews about Family and Spirituality

Over the weekend, a journalist who made her way out to the Gathering this year reached out to us about an idea for an article.  She saw how much ICP’s performance of The Wraith: Shangri-La meant to the Juggalos and Juggalettes in attendance, and wanted dig a little deeper into Juggalos’ faith and spirituality, and how it meshes with being a Juggalo in general.

Check out her message below for more info, and please BE QUICK if you want to be a part of the article:

Hi! I’m a journalist still shaking out the dust from going to this year’s Gathering with my partner, a long time Juggalo. Being there with him seeing The Wraith- Shangri-La live made me think a lot about the ways in which Juggalos relate to family, spirituality, and the music itself. I pitched to a magazine that mostly talks about spirituality, whose theme this month is “family”, about Juggalo culture and community, and got a yes. So now, I’m looking for Juggalos who would potentially like to be quoted in this piece that seeks to raise up the ways in which Juggalos care for and about each other, regardless of their differences.

If that sounds of interest to you, please email miss.kitty.stryker@gmail.com with the subject line “Dark Carnival” and I’ll send you the questions! The piece needs to be finished by September 1st, so I will need to have the responses back by August 27th. Thank you so much!

If you are interested, make sure to reach out ASAP for a list of questions!  She’ll hit you back with the quickness!
