Police say eight people were arrested during the three day “Gathering of the Juggalos” in Oklahoma City.

The music festival, hosted by the Insane Clown Posse, brought in thousands of fans known as Juggalos to the Lost Lakes Amphitheater in Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma City Police Department reports that eight people were arrested during the event.

Police say 28-year-old Michael Schintgen was arrested July 26 with several grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and hundreds of dollars. He faces complaints of distribution of a CDS, possession of criminal proceeds and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers received several complaints from nearby neighborhoods of an “overwhelming number of fireworks” being set off during the festival. Two individuals, 26-year-old Marc Burchell and 59-year-old Charles Beath III, were arrested and released on scene for possession and illegal use of fireworks.

During one of the arrests, the suspect led police back to his campsite to confiscate the rest of his fireworks. As the officer approached the campsite he allegedly observed 25-year-old Jonathan Julian sitting on a chair with a CD case sitting on his lap. The officer noted a hard plastic card, the man’s wallet and a straw on the man’s lap. As the officer approached, Julian looked up and noticed him. Police reports show Julian then shoved the straw in his pocket and became “very nervous”.

While searching Julian, the officer allegedly found a small plastic baggie containing a white substance. The substance later tested positive for cocaine.

Christopher Patrick Green, 25, was arrested during the event on a complaint of disorderly conduct. Police reports show that Green was working for a vendor when he was fired for stealing. Green then allegedly slapped a co-worker after being fired.

Taylor Weir, 27, was arrested at the festival on a complaint of public drunkenness.

Police state they made one arrest for possession of marijuana. Reports show that on July 29 event security contacted police after seeing a man with no wrist band on. A wrist band is required for entry to the event. The man, 21-year-old Damien Henson, told officers he was working for a trash detail at the event. Security told police they didn’t recognize the name of the detail Henson claimed to work for. The owner of the amphitheater then arrived on scene and stated Henson was not on staff for the event. While police took Henson into custody, a plastic baggie containing marijuana was allegedly found in his pocket.

The final arrest came in connection to a traffic accident at the event after the driver was found to have a revoked license.
