Geek.com Shows Love to DCG Con

This is pretty fucking huge for DCG Con!  The website Geek.com, which has previously done a review of Into The Echoside, just posted a new article highlighting the new DCG Con infomercial and describing the convention as PAX for Juggalos!

They talk about the Juggalos Against Sanity game, some of the other draws of going to the convention, and lots more!  Check it out in full below.

From Geek.com:

The Dark Carnival Games Con is PAX for Juggalos

Not too long ago we told you about an intriguing upcoming games event happening this April: the artsy Tribeca Games Festival in New York. However, if you’re looking for a gaming convention that’s a little more wicked, you now have another option. The inaugural Dark Carnival Games Convention is coming to Michigan this April 21-23, and it’s basically PAX for Juggalos.

Let the Insane Clown Posse tell you more. It’s not as dense as a true Gathering infomercial, but it is still pretty entertaining.

Given the playful obsession ICP, Psychopathic Records, and their Juggalo fans have with horrorcore fantasy lore, a Gathering of the Juggalos-type social event for gaming makes perfect sense. We already gave you our extended thoughts on the ICP deckbuilding game Into the Echoside, and truly there will be no better place to play it than surrounded by fellow believers at the Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt. Clemens, Michigan where the con kicks off in a few weeks.

Alongside Into the Echoside, other gaming activities at the con include obstacles courses, trivia tournaments, game design seminars, arcade games, and the debut of Juggalos Against Sanity, a card game that can only be the Juggalos version of Cards Against Humanity. What a wonderful world we live in.

The Dark Carnival Games Con will also feature some of the extra events you’d expect from a smaller Gathering of the Juggalos like movie screenings, art showcases, tarot card readings, wrestling, merch, and concerts from ICP and other members of the Hatchetman family. After parties pop off at the Diesel Lounge in New Baltimore, Michigan.

So if you have $40 you can spare on Juggalo gaming goodness, make your pilgrimage to the 2017 Dark Carnival Games Convention at the Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt. Clemens, Michigan April 21-23.
