Wow, what a night on the interwebs last night! I don’t know about all of you, but I stayed up refreshing the Tickets.JuggaloGathering.com site for right at 5 hours. Finally, I was able to get our Ballers site for FLH HQ! Hope you ninjas had some good luck too!

That being said, at around 5 AM today, the Big Ballers Passes are all SOLD OUT. I’m sure that some shit will happen where they will be available sporadically, but you’ll have to keep checking back.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, if you haven’t seen it yet, JuggaloGathering.com is now LIVE! There’s not much info available, but they do have an introductory paragraph for the new location: Lost Lakes Amphitheater!

Now for the rest. This venue looks fucking AWESOME! It also appears that it’s still very much under construction. Don’t let that deter you though, because some other smaller festivals have already taken place there!

Our homies at Juggalo News have done some homework for you already! (It’s like they already knew where it was gonna be….!) So we’re going to echo some of that for you in here.

First, there’s a big fuckin’ water park! Will we have access to it? Will there be an additional fee? I’m not sure, but check out these slides!

Alright, now that my excitement over that has died down, let’s get you some important info for planning.

The nearest grocery stores are around 10 miles away, with the nearest Walmart being here: 14185 Mack Harrington Drive, Choctaw, OK 73020. That one is open 24 hours. You’d be surprised at how many I’ve run into that weren’t.

For HOTELS, you’ve got a lot of options within a few miles of the venue too. Find your favorite by clicking RIGHT HERE and searching nearby. Here’s what I came up with:

For those of you who are worried about the Weed Laws in Oklahoma, there may be good cause for it. But don’t worry too much. As of July 1st, they will be making ALL MARIJUANA POSSESSION OFFENSES MISDEMEANORS!

Oklahoma initiative makes all marijuana possession offenses misdemeanors!

On November 8, 58% of Oklahoma voters supported State Question 780, which will make all marijuana possession offenses misdemeanors. It will take effect July 1, 2017. Under current law, second and subsequent offenses are felonies, as is possession that meets other criteria —such as taking place on or near university campuses.

The legislature had already taken a step toward reducing penalties by passing HB 2479 earlier in 2016. That bill, which took effect November 1, reduced the penalty for a second marijuana possession offense by half, to a mandatory minimum sentence of one year, a maximum sentence of five years, and a fine of up to $5,000.

Oklahoma still has further to go, as the penalty for first-time marijuana possession will remain up to one year of incarceration and a fine of up to $1,000. Removing possible jail time for marijuana possession altogether, as 21 states have already done, will allow police to focus on solving violent and property crime. In addition, enforcement of these laws is racially biased. According to this report by the ACLU, African Americans in Oklahoma are 2.9 times more likely than whites to be arrested for possession of marijuana, even though blacks and whites consume marijuana at similar rates. Please take a moment to ask your legislators to stop wasting tax dollars and ruining lives by incarcerating people for low level marijuana offenses.

So it could still cost you some jail time and fines. Just be careful y’all.
