Stoner Sex: Broken Penises, Female Ejaculation, Low Sex Drive & Birth Control

Dear Hyapatia,
My boyfriend and I heard something that shocked us. Is it true that it is possible to break a penis? I know it is called a boner, but I didn’t think there was really a bone in there to break. How does this work? — Jason and Maria

Dear Jason and Maria,
Yes! It is true! Although there is no bone in it, once it is erect and filled with blood, to bend it would be a very bad thing—extremely painful—and requires surgery to fix the damaged tissue. An interesting fact is that humans are the only mammal not to have a bone in the penis. It has been suggested that this is where the story of God taking a rib from Adam’s side to make Eve originally came from, as a way to explain why men do not have bones in their penises.

Dear Hyapatia,
I am very embarrassed about this problem. During sex, I think I pee. It feels like it, but there is not a tremendous amount of urine, even though it feels like I am peeing for a long time. I have made sure my bladder is empty before sex, but I still pee during sex. How can I stop this? — Winona

Dear Winona,
It is not really possible for a woman to pee during sex, at least, not a lot. It is far more likely that feeling the urge to pee means you are close to orgasm, and your boyfriend has found your g-spot.  There is such a thing as female ejaculate, and if there is more liquid than you think there should be, it may be that you have had a nice orgasm or hopefully, several orgasms, and have ejaculated a bit. This is perfectly normal, and there are many women who wish they could come from the g-spot this strongly.

Dear Hyapatia,
There is something wrong with me. I have no desire for sex. I don’t know why. I don’t have a girlfriend right now. But it doesn’t really matter because I wouldn’t be able to have sex with her. What is wrong with me? — Darren

Dear Darren,
There are many things that could cause your lack of a sex drive. Are you depressed? Are you on medication? There are many medications that make it hard or even impossible to have sex. Depression can cause people to have no interest in sex. Have you had a physical lately? There are some physical issues that could be responsible for your problem. I don’t know how old you are, but older men often have problems and that is why there are pills for that. It’s nothing to be embarrassed about.

Dear Hyapatia,
The other night my girlfriend and I were doing it. We use condoms for birth control. Well, the condom came off inside her. She got all upset and shit. At first, she blamed me, but I didn’t do it, it just happened. It took a while but finally, she believed me. I helped her get it, but we didn’t notice until after we were done, and I don’t mean to be gross or anything, but, she had reason to worry that she might be pregnant. Everything turned out OK, but since then, it has been awkward in the bedroom. How can I convince her to relax and have sex again? — Eddie

Dear Eddie,
Has she ever considered another form of birth control? That might put her mind at ease. You could reassure her during sex that the condom is still in place. Wrap your thumb and forefinger around your dick to keep it on, if necessary. Tell her it is OK often, and hopefully, she will be able to relax. If she doesn’t want to go on birth control pills, there are other options. Her doctor can tell her what’s available. There is no need for an unintended pregnancy with all the different ways to prevent conception.

A regular period cycle or menstrual cycle is a sign of good health. Keep a track of your menstruation cycle to know when you can get pregnant.
