It’s no secret that sex and weed go together. That’s why High Times has been supplying you with our weekly Stoner Sex column for the past four years—courtesy of former adult film star and cannabis advocate Hyapatia Lee. Each week, Hyapatia answers your burning questions regarding stoner sexuality, and today’s column hits on everything from how to get over bad relationships to dealing with the aftermath of painful (and embarrassing) sex accidents.

Dear Hyapatia,

I have been getting over a bad relationship for almost a year, and I really don’t think I am over it yet, but this guy has come into my life and for the first time in a long time, I am finding myself thinking of him instead of my ex. I didn’t think I was ready for a relationship at all. I was even thinking of going gay. I don’t know him very well, but we work together and I hope to spend more time with him at a company party soon. I have been out of the scene for so long, I could use some pointers. I don’t want to come across as all depressed and everything, but I don’t want to lie either.

— Cindy

Dear Cindy,

The best way to get to know each other better, in my opinion, is to sit down with a big fatty one-on-one. Concentrate on asking him questions and keeping the subject on him, if that feels more comfortable to you. He might be a great listener though and could provide some positive feedback for your personal issues. We all have baggage (including bad relationships) from the past, and we do better in life if we try to concentrate on the positive things, but there are times for sharing too. He undoubtedly has his own issues. Just be natural and let nature take its course. Relax, take deep breaths and be yourself. Try not to jump into bed before you get to know him, or you could be setting yourself up for more emotional pain.

Dear Hyapatia,

Last night I got higher than I have ever been. My boyfriend and I did dabs for the first time. I lost count of how many dabs I did, but I felt like the whole room was spinning. He wanted to have sex and we did, but something very bad happened. I was so high, I accidentally bit him. You know, when I was going down on him. I said I was sorry right away, and he was very cool about it, but I know I hurt him. I don’t know what made me do it. l was just too high for sex, I guess. How can I make it up to him?

— Lisa

Dear Lisa,

I would say you could make it up to him with a good blowjob, but he might be a little shy about that right now. Instead, remember guys like flowers too—the kind that can be smoked. A good massage is always a great way to give back to your lover. I know you may be embarrassed about such a sex accident, and I know I would be too, but you can’t say “I’m sorry” too much.

Dear Hyapatia,

My man and I have a great relationship, and there is nothing like getting high and talking until we can’t keep away from each other anymore. My concern is that he likes to use household objects on me as sex toys. At first, I thought it was a bit strange but went with it. Now, it is getting out of hand. Every time I use these things, all I can think of is where it has been, and then I am grossed out and throw it away. He doesn’t seem to understand. I want to stop all this. I like his dick in me, and that is all. How can I go back, now that I have gone this far?

— Jessica

Dear Jessica,

By now he has probably noticed that you are throwing things away that you have used. Just tell him you can’t get past the memory of where it has been and that grosses you out. After explaining all this, tell him you don’t want to do this kind of thing anymore. Let him know how nice it feels to have him inside you and that he is all you want. He shouldn’t get upset at that! It could be that the memories that you have made with these objects that make you throw them away are what keeps him turned on. If so, tell him to keep any objects you have used but not gotten rid of yet. Tell him how you worry about the safety of putting dirty things inside of you. Once he knows this, he should be cool about it.

Dear Hyapatia,

My homies and I like to watch a little porn now and then. One of our friends recently called us perverts and said that normal guys don’t watch porn. Is that true? I thought he was the abnormal one.

— Josh

Dear Josh,

According to many polls, you are right. A few production companies have been doing some pretty crazy things in the last couple of decades, but for the most part, it is just normal people enjoying each other’s bodies. Porn is popular all over the world and has been for thousands of centuries. It didn’t all start with the invention of the camera! There is a museum about the history of erotica in Las Vegas, and it is well worth the trip. I stayed for a few hours and I don’t think I saw everything there was to see. It will take you on a history of erotic art, the peep show, the erotic hall of fame, the legal history of erotica in the United States, an extensive collection of penis bones from the animal kingdom and much more. The more sex is suppressed, the more people naturally want to watch it and participate in it.
